Bulletin Boards & Decorations

This was a bulletin board I had last year promoting "Just Right" reading habits.

Math bulletin board

Promoting teamwork as a class. Letters were made using the Cricut!
This is how we display our weekly sight words. The words we are studying that week are on the bottom. Our class loves seeing how many words they've learned so far this year.

Job charts

This was done in college during my student teaching and it had to be all hand made!! (they said it was because they didn't want us to buy anything... but it actually was a bigger headache!)
In my first job as a kindergarten teacher this was one of my job charts.

Welcoming our students to our class!

Children earned "good choice bucks" when making good choices and turned them in for a prize every Friday.

During Read Across America week each kindergarten class was themed a different Laura Neumeroff book. We were "If You Give a Pig a Pancake".

This is one of my favorite February projects! I did it my first year and I repeated it again this year. I traced the children's profile using an overhead projector. I cut them out and mounted it on white paper.  My students had to come up with appropriate adjectives to describe why they would be a good president. My favorite is every year I at least one student who says they should be president because they are "handsome".

Fun St. Patrick's Day Graph

During our ladybug unit we decorated the door with ladybug facts.

Happy Earth Day! Cute and simple!
